Taos Horse Fly has learned that Cuddy & McCarthy the attorneys for the Taos Municipal School District has never followed State of New Mexico procurement procedures for the school district.

Petition to Set Back GRT Gaining Momentum

"A petition for referendum on the local option gross receipts tax increment has been received in the Town of Taos Clerk’s Office with 367 signatures," according to Town of Taos Director of Communications, Cathy Connelly.
Should the basic minimum of 220 registered voters be qualified in the Town of Taos, the 0.25% tax increase will be put to a public vote.
